Hello and welcome to The Last Resort Panama, Panama’s Premiere Recovery Center.

It is my privilege to share with you some highlights about what we offer here at The Last Resort Panama’s “Real Life Rehab” Program. Chiriqui Panama is arguably the most exotic environment’s imaginable. Recognized for aesthetic beauty and spiritual qualities, it is truly a glorious place for recovery. It is this serene and tropical environment, which permits a clear focus on the internal work that we help our participants to address.

Within this environment, The Last Resort Panama is distinctive for its comprehensive program and our exceptional teamwork. Through a variety of traditional and nontraditional methods, we provide an opportunity for recovery, and to gain clarity as to what is most meaningful in an individual’s life.

Up until now the resort style recovery center has been reserved for the elite. A guest at The Last Resort can expect quality service and professional recovery modalities. The center is small in comparison to traditional drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers. Therefore, our addictions professionals carry small caseloads. With a maximum of 10 guests at the center a guest can expect an enormous amount of individual care. Relationships play an important role in the recovery process. The relationships built at the center may continue indefinitely! A participant at The Last Resort becomes part of a healthy family.

I consider The Last Resort Panama the perfect oasis for recovery. It is my belief that the unconditional support, compassion and love provided here at The Last Resort Panama will assist a participant in transforming pain and fear into hope and self-love.

Our multidisciplinary program is structured to address these areas in traditional and nontraditional modalities of treatment and our tropical environment provides a safe haven for healing. While it is helpful to come to our “Real Life Rehab” Program motivated to engage in treatment. We recognize that fear is paralyzing for the individual, the thought of abstinence may cripple a person’s judgment. Yet, with a supportive, insightful and experienced team, an individual will be encouraged to learn how to live without the distractions that they have grown comfortable using in times of stress, hopelessness, and struggling with personal mediocrity.

It is our Mission to serve individuals and their families afflicted with addiction. We encourage spousal participation when reasonably appropriate. Our family centered approach allows a couple to participate in the recovery process together, yet, allowing the necessary space to address the addictive and dysfunctional aspects of recovery as well.

For you as a referring agent to our facility we are keenly aware of the effort that it takes to convince an individual to seek treatment. We recognize that there is an additional burden of paperwork and follow-up necessary to see someone off to their recovery journey. It is with this knowledge as a social worker and case manager that we will adequately compensate you for your time.

This gesture is considered a professional courtesy for your assistance. We find this to be a win-win policy for everyone. It allows us to do the work that truly matters, working with our guests. It is soothing for the potential guest as well. Typically, the referring agent has an established relationship with the potential participant. This offers the guest the comfort of sharing their personal information with an established source of trust. Finally, it is an appreciated practice for the referring practitioner. Lets face it your time is extremely valuable. We appreciate your willingness to give your time to this process.

My commitment to you is that you can count on a compassionate team of highly skilled professional staff working with all of our guests. It is our intention to find a recovery path that works for the participant and to strive toward establishing a direction plan that will support an extraordinary life.
